At Ywax, we provide both face and body waxing for all hair and skin types. Our experienced technicians remove unwanted hair quickly and effectively, whilst keeping the treatment as pain-free as possible. We offer both strip and hot waxing options to cater to those more sensitive areas.
How does it work?
Hot wax is gently applied to the area, and then pulled away to remove the hair. You can expect to be hair-free for 4-6 weeks after waxing depending on the individual. Waxing works best when you keep up a regular routine, and after a while you will see a permanent decline in hair growth. Score!
YPrep:
It’s important to be prepared! Please wash and exfoliate the area prior to your appointment. If you are going to trim beforehand, don’t over do it and be careful when using thick moisturisers or creams on the area.
After waxing, we recommend a cold shower and using Laser aid to soothe the area if it is feeling tender. Try and avoid perfumed moisturisers and wearing tight clothes such as stockings as these things can cause irritation. We also recommend to scrub twice a week, a few days after waxing to prevent ingrowns. Skinstitut’s Glycolic Scrub is one of our favourites!
